Poop there it is!

So, I had to blog about Whitney's first pediatrician visit, because it was just too darn funny.  Aaron and I have decided to take Whitney to Village Pediatrics.  We are seeing Dr. Slaymaker, and so far we really like him. 

For her first newborn pediatrician visit, the nurse was doing her typial intake evaluation.  Part of the exam is to take Whitney's temperature.  At the hospital, the nurses always took her temperature under her arm.  However, at the pediatrician's office, they seem to like to take a rectal temperature.  We got Whitney all undressed and the nurse went in with the thermometer.  For some reason the thermometer was not working, so she pulled it out and reset.  Whitney was not happy with the fact that the nurse had to go in for round two.  As the nurse collected her rectal temperature for the second time, Whitney, exploded poop all over the nurse, the thermometer and the table.  It was so funny, because not only did Whitney poop, but her poop was so explosive that her little bum was completely clean.  It had literally shot out of her bum.

The morale of the story is that Whitney does not like getting rectal temps, let alone a nurse that has to take it twice.  Be warned!  My little darling is just priceless.
